Do you rent the property via a limited company or a plc (as opposed to renting it in your own name)? 

This would be where you are the director of a limited company and the company is named as the tenant in the tenancy agreement rather than you personally.

Note:  we are referring here to a company that is registered at the Companies House website.

A company may rent a property, for example, to house its directors or employees.
